ESL & Cooper Training Day

ESL & Cooper Training DayESL in conjunction with Cooper Industries, have recently run a series of training days. The most recent of which was at the Sheldon Hotel on 21st October 2011.

It was extremely well attended, mainly by electrical contractors and the consensus was that it was very useful indeed.

The program was opened by Phil Kane, the Ireland manager of Cooper Industries Limited. Phil gave us an overview of some of the Cooper brands in Ireland. Most observers were surprised at just how large the company actually is.

Derek McKeever then spoke about Cooper safety - Menvier, and spoke in some depth about fire installation design. He discussed the different types such as addressable, wireless and the conventional fire products and how to program them.

The Energy Show 2010

Presented by the SEAI. this two-day TRADE exhibition showcased leading energy suppliers and the latest innovative products and services. You could also get a wealth of tips from best practice case studies and insights into sustainable energy opportunities at the extensive seminar programes.

A wide range of energy saving products were on display from low energy mini lamps to electrically powered trucks.

Both AP Haslam and Demesne Electrical were participating in the event. We went along to see what they were displaying.

Business Opportunities in Energy Management

Electrical Supplies Limited in conjunction with MK, ABB, Patina and Robus ran a seminar  on 'Business opportunities in energy management' in the Sheldon Park Hotel, Dublin on the 9th October.

This event was extremely well attended, so much so, that a last minute room change needed to be accommodated.

Energy 09

Energy Show 09The Energy 09 show was held at the RDS, Main Hall on 29th/30th April. Organised on behalf of Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) with a view to promoting and assisting development of sustainable energy.

237 exhibitors displayed their latest products and service, and their was a record attendance of over 5,500 business people.
