AP Haslam were displaying their new modular LED luminaire (see photo) HDL 106. This fitting can be used as a single unit - small floodlight or bulkhead or linked together to replicate a large 250W/400W floodlight. Each module utilizes 48 off 1.2W LED's. 50% less power consumption over a typical EX d floodlight. for more information on these fittings click here>>>
They were also displaying the Smart Micro-Generators EMMA. (The Energy & Micro-Generator MAnager) This is a unit designed to reduce the energy 'lost' to the grid from a micro-generator from approximately 50% to zero. This saves you money and reduces C02 emissions. for more information on this click on www.coolpower.ie
Demesne Electrical had the Patina range of lighting products on display. Patina has committed significant resources to the development of high efficiency luminaires and lighting systems which are fully programmable and are capable of generating savings that are up to 90% higher than those achieved by conventional luminaires. They had a number of their products on display. Their seemed to be a lot of interest on this stand.
Overall, the show seemed to be well attended and the people I spoke to were happy with the footfall, although comments were made that it was not as busy as last years show.
