ESL & Cooper Training Day

ESL & Cooper Training DayESL in conjunction with Cooper Industries, have recently run a series of training days. The most recent of which was at the Sheldon Hotel on 21st October 2011.

It was extremely well attended, mainly by electrical contractors and the consensus was that it was very useful indeed.

The program was opened by Phil Kane, the Ireland manager of Cooper Industries Limited. Phil gave us an overview of some of the Cooper brands in Ireland. Most observers were surprised at just how large the company actually is.

Derek McKeever then spoke about Cooper safety - Menvier, and spoke in some depth about fire installation design. He discussed the different types such as addressable, wireless and the conventional fire products and how to program them.

ECSSA - Training & Verification Courses Apr/June 2010

Under the terms of our CER license, ECSSA are obliged to ensure that it's registered members are competent to test and certify their installations. A Booking Form is available to download and it is vital that this be used when booking any of the Courses. (N.B. One booking form per person). An ECSSA Card will be issued to each successful participant.

NECI Annual General Meeting 2010

The 2010 National Electrical Contractors Ireland AGM will be held in the Hodson Bay Hotel Athlone County Westmeath on the Saturday the 24th of April at 11am.

All members are encouraged to attend and fully participate. A new national council will be elected and all attending members will be entitled to vote on all issues.

A full report of the years events will be available to all members attending, as will the financial statements. Membership renewals will be accepted at the meeting. Please take this opportunity to be actively involved in our Industry and remember "United we can effect change and make the difference".
