ESL in conjunction with Cooper Industries, have recently run a series of training days. The most recent of which was at the Sheldon Hotel on 21st October 2011.
It was extremely well attended, mainly by electrical contractors and the consensus was that it was very useful indeed.
The program was opened by Phil Kane, the Ireland manager of Cooper Industries Limited. Phil gave us an overview of some of the Cooper brands in Ireland. Most observers were surprised at just how large the company actually is.
Derek McKeever then spoke about Cooper safety - Menvier, and spoke in some depth about fire installation design. He discussed the different types such as addressable, wireless and the conventional fire products and how to program them.
